The Fishing Advent Calendar

This was the reaction I was trying to catch. She opened the packet and wanted everyone to look at it. I'm glad I had the camera out for that one.

Yes, the fishing calendar came on the boat with us. Seemed like a good place to open it. We've already started discussing which bits we'd each pick.

Took a close-up because this one's easy to miss in a picture of the whole box. You can get a better idea of its size like this. I'm interested in seeing it in the water next.

Thought I'd take a quick picture before opening this up. I like the idea of getting a surprise instead of picking every bit of tackle myself. Curious to see which piece ends up being my favourite.

The one-door-at-a-time plan didn't last very long here. Once we'd opened a couple, the next one was all anyone wanted to talk about. You can see how that went from the state of the box.
